- Tony WillisI attach a picture of the plant which
was obtained from Jacques Amand as A. griffithii. He has since sent me the
correct plant. It has an extension to its spadix which is 110cms long and
brown

- Wilbert Hetterscheid (2 Jun 2004): I haven't sent in my ID for this plant to the website but I don't see
why it isn't Arisaema intermedium...!!
- Pascal Bruggeman (3
Jun 2004): Most species from section Arisaema are able to
produce 2 leaves and I have seen plenty in the wild with 2 leaves.
Intermedium is only variable in colour of the flower (from purplish to
almost white but usually plain green) and length of the spathe tip. In this
case the length of the spathe tip is conform what was known as forma
biflaggelatum, a form which usually occurs at the Eastern boundary of its
distribution range in E Nepal and West Bengal. To my knowledge intermedium
is never auruiculate.

this page).
The form doesn't work very well at the
moment,
